Privacy

What we collect

• Guardian: name, email (for sign-in) and an optional phone number.
• Learner: name, chosen display name, age band (not date of birth) and consent records.
• Learner work: quest answers, uploaded evidence, feedback and scores.

We do not ask for home address, school or exact date of birth.

Who can see it

• A learner's private work is visible only to their guardian account and active DigiJuniors facilitators and admins.
• The leaderboard shows only display names and scores — never full names, ages, guardian details, work or photos.
• Staff viewing of portfolios and evidence through the app is logged. Files someone has already downloaded cannot be tracked.

Consent

The guardian ticks a consent box at registration. This is recorded, not independently verified; DigiJuniors staff confirm enrolment separately. Consent for promotional photographs is optional and separate from taking part.

Export and deletion

Guardians can ask a DigiJuniors admin to export or delete a learner's records. Audit records of staff actions are kept for accountability.
